Sarah Waxman, 23, was born in Washington, DC. During her high school years at Sidwell Friends School, she played varsity field hockey and lacrosse. Sarah was recruited by the University of Pennsylvania to be a member of the women’s lacrosse team. At Penn, Sarah and her team excelled and celebrated back-to-back Ivy League Championships with two Final Four appearances. Sarah was honored with the 2007 and 2008 National Goalkeeper of the Year award. Upon graduation, Sarah spent a year teaching English and history in Oaxaca, Mexico, as well as many months traveling around Central America. Sarah has recently returned to the DC area and is extremely happy to be back.
