From annual literary festivals and monthly book clubs to the Kass Judaic Library, the Bender JCC believes the literary arts have the power to educate, enlighten, and engage. Explore everything we have to offer book lovers at the Bender JCC.

Our annual festival returns with an astounding array of authors and programs exploring storytelling through words, music and images. Planning is well underway for our exciting, revamped literary series and we are busy assembling an outstanding line up of speakers and programs.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. For information on making a donation to the book festival or sponsoring an author event, please contact Marcie Blackman.

Kass Judaic Library

The Kass Judaic features new and classic Jewish books. The Library is currently closed for reorganization and will be moving to another location within the Bender JCC. Questions about the Kass Judaic Library? Contact  Marcie Blackman.

Book Clubs

Looking for fellow book lovers? The Bender JCC boasts three book clubs spanning fiction to history, biography to contemporary issues. All book clubs meet at the Center. No registration is necessary.
