The Bender JCC embraces and welcomes the diversity of our community and encourages everyone to seek meaning and fulfillment by participating in our rich programming inspired by our Jewish heritage. We open our doors to everyone, including people of all backgrounds, religions, abilities and sexual orientations, and interfaith couples and families. Inclusion permeates our Center. Join us for the annual Lessans Family Literary Series including conversations with the authors.

Rising stars and renowned artists will delight and inspire in the Bender JCC’s Artists of Excellence (AOE) concert series. Plus, join us for Mount Vernon Virtuosi, free Sunday concerts for the family and adults.

Films are as diverse as the Bender JCC itself, produced and directed by a bevy of international talent from around the globe, including Israel and the U.S.

The Bender JCC is proud to offer adults and students of all ages meaningful exhibits revolving around the Jewish experience, identity, and culture in a beautiful, warm, and welcoming gallery space.

Scholarly lectures on the latest archaeological research findings and related fields such as history, art, and texts of ancient times in the Near East and Eastern Mediterranean.

Jewish Life

From Think & Drink, TED-talk style lectures at local tasting rooms to dance, film, music, and art, the Bender JCC offers exciting, innovative ways to learn about Israel—past, present, and future.

The Center offers a variety of Hebrew classes in a supportive, fun environment through conversation, reading, and writing.

The Bender JCC celebrates Judaism throughout the year with a variety of holiday celebrations and observances, family and community gatherings, and festive workshops.

From visual arts and dance classes to private music lessons, the arts are alive and well at the Bender JCC.
