The Grandparenting Center is dedicated to strengthening and celebrating the grandparenting experience. While grandparents have always been welcome in Parenting Center activities, now there is new programming designed especially for them.
Challah & Music with Bubbe and Zayde
Join us for a monthly challah-making and music-filled session to share joyful Judaism from generation to generation. Connect with other grandparents while bonding with your grandbabies and having fun! Every month will offer different activities such as art and tikkun olam — but making challah and music-making will always be included! Cost: Members: $10, General Public: $15. Bubbe and Zayde 101
Making Memories, supporting the new parents and keeping your grandbaby safe are a few of the topics discussed in this class designed to give you an opportunity to explore your wonderful new role. Cost: Members $25, General Public: $35
CPR For Grandparents
Every parent and/or caregiver should know how and when to administer CPR. In this class, you will become Red Cross certified in CPR for children ages 1+. Recommended for grandparents or caregivers. Cost: Members $55, General Public: $65
Grandparenting From Afar
In today’s age of technology, it can feel like we’re always connected. But, forming close relationships and providing support for children and grandchildren living away can be complicated to navigate. Come together with other grandparents in similar situations to learn and discuss strategies and experiences for grandparenting from afar.
