Born and raised in the Washington DC area, Kevin Bass remembers always playing sports from an early age. Basketball, baseball, football, tennis … he was always a sports fanatic. He comes by it honestly; his father, Danny Bass, is also a member of the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Baseball was Kevin’s favorite sport to play. He played on many teams in his youth, then attended George Washington University on a full baseball scholarship. After college, he actively played many sports including basketball, baseball and golf. He also coached his son’s baseball and basketball teams. In addition, he has enjoyed participating in many area charity tournaments.
