Pollin has been broadcasting sports on the radio for more than 20 years. He is Sports Director for WTEM Radio and can be heard regularly on his sports radio show on the ESPN radio network. He is also known as long-time radio sidekick for Tony Kornheiser. Pollin spent his high school years playing intramural sports at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington. In 1987, he was part of the original staff on WFAN in New York, where he worked as a beat reporter and talk show host. In 1992 he returned to his native Washington, D.C. to launch WTEM. Pollin launched two successful all-sports radio stations — including Washington’s first all-sports station where he has served as sports director since its inception. His work has included two AIR awards as host of Redskins pre-game programming.
