Join the JCC Men’s Club for a special lecture by Norman Polmar, expert in naval, aviation, and intelligence subjects. During the Cold War the United States and its Allies suffered numerous intelligence and warning failures. This was especially true about Soviet submarines. Indeed, when the Cold War ended Soviet submarines were superior to their U.S. counterparts with respect to speed, depth, automation, weapons, and non-acoustic detection–features that the West often failed to identify.
