B. Changemakers is a volunteering program designed to give tweens (ages 11-13) a wide experience of volunteering opportunities.
Over the span of 5 monthly Sunday sessions, teens will engage in hands-on volunteer service at nonprofit agencies in Montgomery County. With educational presentations from experts in the field, they will learn about ways to make a difference in their community. Through their hands-on service experience, the teens will finish the program empowered to take action. Using Jewish teachings around service, social justice and mitzvot they will learn how to leverage their own personal strengths and passions to engage in change-making beyond their middle school years. At the end of this program, all participants will be awarded a total of 20 SSL hours.

- May 4, 2025
