Allen Rosenberg is recognized as an outstanding coach and coxswain for the US Olympic and World Champion Rowing Teams. As Head Coach his teams won 3 gold medals in both the 1961 and 1965 Maccabiah Games; 2 gold,1 silver and 1 bronze medal in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan; a gold medal in the 1974 World Championships; and a silver medal in the 1976 Olympic Games in MontreaL Canada. In 1975, he coached the US team to 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Mexico City, Mexico. Rosenberg is an International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. He continued to coach, write and lecture on his beloved sport.
