Allie Ritzenberg is recognized for his phenomenal college and professional tennis career, during which he won numerous championships around the world. On the senior’s circuit, Allie has won 11 world titles and was named #1 world ranked player in the 75+ age category.  Using his tennis skills and expertise, he has improved the game for others through articles and lectures.  He also wrote, narrated, and performed in two teaching films.  Sports Illustrated magazine credits Allie with starting the tennis “Renaissance” in 1962.  He initiated public indoor tennis in Washington, DC, using it to bridge the gap between races and enhance race relations. Allie has also served as the State Department’s Ambassador for the International Education Exchange Grant. Most recently, he has been the tennis professional at the St. Alban’s School and Tennis club.  A true tennis lover, Allie is the owner of what authorities consider to be the world’s best collection of tennis antiquities.
