Bruce Lipka, director of tennis at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland, previously served as assistant men’s tennis coach at the University of Florida and head men’s tennis coach at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Bruce was a two-time U.S. National Amateur Champion while playing at the college level. Additionally, he was named to both academic and athletic all-conference teams as a student-athlete and has won titles throughout his career at both the national and international levels. He held an ATP ranking from 1985-1989 and captained the USTA Church Cup and Talbert Cup teams from 2001-2013. He won a gold and bronze medal at the Maccabiah World Games in July 2009 in Tel Aviv, Israel. Bruce represented the United States in Potter Cup play from 2009-2014. He also served as the volunteer assistant for the men’s tennis team at the University of Maryland from 2001-2009.
