Aqua Suspension at The Bender JCC is a low-impact class which strengthens your core, improves posture, and enhances flexibility, balance, and coordination — all while easing discomfort and boosting overall stability. Participants should feel comfortable exercising in deep water without touching the floor.
Krava Maga at the Bender JCC is suitable for all fitness levels. The classes cover fundamental strikes, defensive moves, and real-world scenarios to build confidence and improve reaction speed. Participants will engage in drills, partner work, and stress-based training to simulate real-life situations. By the end of the course, you’ll have enhanced your awareness, physical fitness, and ability to defend yourself effectively. Krava Maga is offered as a 6-Week course.
Tai Chi uses gentle flowing movements to reduce the stress of a busy lifestyle and improve balance, agility, and health. Individuals interested in Tai Chi at the Bender JCC should be able to stand on one foot for several seconds at a time, while being willing to learn one new move over the course of six to 8 weeks.
This 6-week, 60-minute, women-only program is designed to target and develop multiple muscle groups at once. You will build lean muscle, which supports optimal metabolic function, burn significant calories in a short period of time, and experience an intimate training experience amongst a small group of other women looking to get stronger and build vitality.
