Jewish Family Ambassadors

Infants and Toddlers (0-5)

The Bender JCC welcomes parents raising Jewish children into our community! Our Jewish Family Ambassadors (JFAs) goal is to help connect you with other parents in your neighborhood, to local programming, and to whatever else might interest you in the Jewish community.

Connecting Families In Our Community

As the parent of a child under the age of six, you’ll have the opportunity to meet over coffee (our treat), or virtually if you prefer; and the chance to learn about exciting family activities that are available for your little ones where you live. Included is a JFA welcome gift tote filled with goodies.

Contact Jen Radosh at [email protected] or 301-348-3848 for any JFA-related questions.

Meet Our JFA Ambassadors

Elizabeth is excited to join the Bender JCC as our newest Jewish Family Ambassador. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Elizabeth spent 10 years living in New York City, where she served on the leadership board of the Manhattan JCC and developed a deep passion for Jewish community engagement and connection. She returned to Maryland in 2018 and now lives in North Bethesda with her husband and two-year-old daughter.

Looking to meet other new moms and find playmates for her daughter, Elizabeth turned to the JCC and signed up for classes and events through the Parenting Center. Through those experiences, she quickly found friendship, support, and a strong sense of community.

Elizabeth is excited to help other families build meaningful connections and feel at home within the JCC community through programs, events, and shared experiences.

Ally was born and raised in the Rockville/ Olney area where she was very active in her Jewish community. After high school she lived in Israel for a year, studying at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and volunteering in a preschool in the developing community of Yerucham. Ally continued her studies at the University of Delaware where her love of building Jewish community and Israel engagement blossomed. After college Ally’s professional career focused on mission driven work spanning Birthright Israel recruitment, admissions in education, and creating meaningful communities. In January of 2025, Ally and her family moved back to Olney to reconnect with her community after living in Los Angeles for 8 years. Ally has two boys, Adler and Jonah, who are always looking for their next big adventure. Ally can’t wait to connect with other local families looking to discover their own Jewish community.
