Bender JCC Deepens Commitment to Jewish Communal Professionals Through Expanded Membership Support
Initiative reinforces the JCC’s role as a trusted hub for well-being, connection, and Jewish life across Greater Washington

The Bender JCC of Greater Washington is strengthening its commitment to Jewish communal professionals by expanding membership support for individuals and families who work in Jewish organizations throughout the Greater Washington region.
At a time when Jewish communal professionals are navigating increased demands, heightened stress, and a more complex environment, the Bender JCC is taking a values-driven step to ensure that those who serve the community have greater access to a safe, welcoming space focused on well-being, connection, and belonging.
The expanded membership support is designed to reduce barriers to participation in the JCC and to encourage deeper engagement with its wide range of offerings, including fitness and aquatics, wellness programs, arts and culture, family experiences, and opportunities for meaningful community connection.
This initiative reflects the Bender JCC’s broader mission to strengthen Jewish life by supporting individuals at every stage and by investing in the people who dedicate their careers to Jewish communal service.

As part of this expanded commitment, eligible Jewish communal professionals and their families are now able to access a significantly enhanced membership discount, including a 20% reduction in membership dues and no initiation fee.
