Community Life Inclusion

J Circle

Adults (18+)

J Circle is a series of programs designed for adults with disabilities to foster new friendships and a deeper sense of community at the Bender JCC.

J Circle

Community, connections, and friendships are essential to our happiness. For many adults, finding avenues to make friends can be challenging. J Circle will encompass a variety of experiences for adults with disabilities. J Circle programming will offer both an event for participants and a separate event for parents and caregivers on the same date and time.

Our Lunch Program offers a welcoming space for adults with disabilities to come together twice a week to share a meal, build friendships, and enjoy meaningful social time in a supportive environment. Lunches take place on Mondays and Wednesdays. Participants bring their own lunch, which must be kosher, and enjoy eating together in a relaxed, inclusive setting. Each gathering is designed to encourage conversation, social interaction, and a strong sense of belonging.
