Bram Weinstein grew up in Silver Spring, MD before launching a career in sports broadcasting that included covering the Redskins to anchoring Sportscenter at ESPN. After graduating from Springbrook High School, he attended American University studying broadcast journalism. His first on air job was at KHAS-TV in Hastings, Nebraska where he worked as an anchor/reporter. After two years he returned home to Washington to work in local cable television and eventually returned to WTEM-AM where he was an intern in college.

At WTEM Bram became locally known for his 8 year coverage of the Washington Redskins that included a stint as host of “The Joe Gibbs show.”

Bram was hired by ESPN in 2008 where he worked as an anchor and reporter on a variety of programs most notably Sportscenter.

After seven years, he and his family decided to return home to Washington where he took over Tony Kornheiser’s vacated radio slot at WTEM-AM. The Bram Weinstein Show aired for 2 years. Currently Bram works for Fox 5 in Washington hosting “Like it or Not,” has two nationally syndicated radio programs: “The Winners Circle” focused on Thoroughbred Horse Racing and “The Move” which takes a close look at the lifestyle of the sports gambler.

Bram also teaches in the school of Communication as an adjunct professor at American University and is co-owner of Reel Media Group, a media consulting firm.
