Bad Shabbos, this wickedly funny, highly entertaining, one-night-in-New-York story turns a Shabbat family dinner into a chaotic whirlwind. The son and his non-Jewish fiancé are about to have their parents meet each other when an accidental death gets in the way and threatens to unravel the whole evening.
Kyra Sedgwick leads an outstanding ensemble cast in this fast paced, surprisingly profound film, finding humor in unexpected places. The film’s true strength, however, is that no matter what your religion or how you practice it, you can appreciate its message: family matters!
