Join Reboot, Reboot Studios, the Bender JCC of Greater Washington, and Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School for a special evening of film, conversation, and community exploring how Jewish identity is lived and expressed today.
This Is “What Jewish Looks Like” is a national touring program with best-in-class short films and community conversations, reflecting the breadth of contemporary Jewish experiences.
Reboot is developing a film, “Whatever It Takes”, inspired by the remarkable story of the 2017 CESJDS championship cross-country team, exploring the intersection of sports, Jewish identity, perseverance, and belonging.
After the screenings, panelists will explore the role of sports as a vehicle for perseverance, achievement, teamwork, community, and the stories that emerge when these worlds intersect.
