The Miró Quartet is one of America’s most celebrated string ensembles, praised as “furiously committed” (The New Yorker) and noted for “exceptional tonal focus and interpretive intensity” (Cleveland Plain Dealer). Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, it has appeared on leading global stages. Based in Austin, the group connects with diverse audiences while honoring chamber music traditions. Since 2003, it has been quartet-in-residence at UT Austin. Its 2025 PENTATONE release of Ginastera’s quartets follows GRAMMY®-nominated albums Home (2024) and House of Belonging.
