Join the JCC Men’s Club for a special presentation by Steve LaRocque. Steve shares excerpts from the wartime columns of Ernie Pyle, one of the first embedded reporters. Pyle wrote a daily Scripps-Howard column during World War II, traveling with American forces across major campaigns including the Blitz, North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Normandy, and the liberation of Paris. His stories captured everyday soldiers and their sacrifices and brought the war home to readers.
