GRAND PARENT/FRIEND AND ME

Grand Menorah Making | December 14 | 10 – 11:30 AM
Get festive with your grandkids! Celebrate the warmth of the season by crafting your very own menorah together. A hands-on, multi-generational event that brings Jewish traditions to life through creativity, stories, and music.

GRAND Theatre Trip: Fiddler on the Roof | January 11 | 2:00 PM
Join us for an unforgettable family outing to see Fiddler on the Roof at Signature Theater. This timeless 1964 classic beautifully captures the balance between honoring tradition and embracing change. A wonderful shared experience for families—and a meaningful Hanukkah gift for grandchildren ages 13 and up.

GRAND Sleep Under | February 14 | 5:45 – 8:00 PM
Moms and Dads can go out for a special dinner while the grandparents take the kiddos to a pajama party… but everyone sleeps at home! Join us for a cozy “sleep under” filled with dinner, crafts, storytime, and lots of snuggles. Come in your favorite pajamas and create magical memories that will last long after bedtime.

GRAND Challah Bake | March 8 | 10 – 11:15 AM
Bring your GRAND friend and join us for a day of fun, service, and creativity as we bake challah together! This is a bake one-give-one model. Each family will bake and decorate 2 challahs.
One will be shared with your loved ones, and one will be donated to Nourish Now to support families in the community. Please register one ticket for your family.

GRAND Family Museum | April 22 | Virtual
Learn how to collect and share your family stories between generations. With guidance from the Capital Jewish Museum, grandparents will walk away with ideas on how best to share your old photos, memories and family artifacts. Don’t miss the chance to be the curator of your family museum.

Children in pajamas play and jump on blue mats in a community room, supervised by several adults; some people sit at tables in the background.
