Become a Member of the Bender JCC
You may first come to the Bender JCC to workout in our premier fitness facility, swim all year round in our heated indoor and outdoor pools, or experience the joys of summer camp, but you’ll soon discover why the Bender JCC is the “best kept secret” in Montgomery County: there’s so much to do here! Around every corner, you’ll find opportunities to experience community in life’s everyday and milestone moments.
Membership Types and Rates
The Bender JCC offers a variety of membership types to suit individuals, couples, families, and young professionals, with rates designed to accommodate different needs and preferences. Membership includes access to all our facilities, programs, and special discounts.
Memberships with Full Facility and Program Access
Interested in using all your favorite Bender JCC amenities inducing our fitness center and pools? The following membership options include full access to all Bender JCC classes, events, and facilities – including our gym, fitness center, pools, and more – plus they unlock special, members-only discounts and perks.
$100 initiation fee + processing fees ($25/individuals | $50/couples + families) apply. Teens and young professionals are exempt from $100 initiation fee.
Memberships with Access to Classes and Programs
The following membership options provide access to specific classes and programs, but you’ll need to purchase guest passes to use facilities like our gym, fitness center, and pools.
- $250/year
- Provides access to private swim lessons and member pricing on other classes and programs.
- Does not include discounts or priority application access to camp or preschool.
- $200/year (tax-deductible)
- Five free guest passes to the fitness center and member pricing on programs and classes.
- Does not include discounts or priority application access to camp or preschool.
- $400/year (tax-deductible)
- 10 free guest passes to the fitness center and member pricing on programs and classes.
- Does not include discounts or priority application access to camp or preschool.
The Bender JCC is proud to offer a 20% discount on membership dues for Jewish communal professionals in the Greater Washington area. This discount is available to employees of Jewish organizations, schools, and synagogues and is our way of recognizing the meaningful work you do to strengthen Jewish life in our community.
How to Activate the Discount
To receive the 20% discount, please visit the Membership Department and provide one of the following:
• Your most recent pay stub (sensitive information may be redacted)
• A dated letter from your HR department confirming employment
Employment verification is required annually to maintain eligibility.
The Bender JCC of Greater Washington proudly offers reduced-rate memberships for active duty military members and their families.
Eligibility:
• Active duty military personnel (with valid military ID)
• Individuals transitioning to civilian life
• Those who have separated from the military within the past 24 months

Bender JCC members get priority registration to all programs and a discounted member rate to programs with a fee.
