Barbara Guterman is one of the most remarkable entrepreneurial and civic leaders of her generation.

She built a telecommunications company from scratch at 23, took it public as the only woman in her industry, and watched it sell for six billion dollars. Forbes called her a Woman with a Mission. She appeared on the cover of Reader’s Digest as well as in many other publications.

Her 40-year professional career spans large and small company start-ups, both public and private, in industries ranging from telecom, retail, fine jewelry, and the exploding consumer baby products industry, with her expertise in manufacturing, management, franchising and communications.

For the past eight years she founded and has led Teach Give Inspire Fridays, (TGIF), — a women’s empowerment platform that has coached over 100 women to take the stage and own their own story. As founder of Barbara Guterman, a boutique public speaking training practice, she now brings that same transformative work to executives and leaders across industries.

Barbara chairs the Menorah Life Foundation, (a Jewish nursing home community in St. Petersburg, Florida which bears her parents’ names), she serves as a Past President of Congregation B’nai Tzedek, and for the last 17 years has led the board of KEEN Greater DC which provides life-changing recreational programs for children with significant special needs. She is also President of the Board of So What Else — Montgomery County’s largest food bank, which served over 300,000 individuals last year alone and has provided over 125 million meals to Montgomery County residents since Covid.

Michael Dunn is a former professional football player, playing nine years in the NFL.

Michael grew up in Bethesda, MD. He attended Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School from kindergarten through 8^th grade before going to Walt Whitman High School. 

A graduate of University of Maryland, Michael joined the football team as a walk-on and went on to earn a scholarship and start 48 games on the offensive line. At Maryland, he was a captain, team MVP, two-time Honorable Mention All-Big 10, and three-time Academic All-Big 10. 

After Maryland, he entered the NFL where he most notably played for the Cleveland Browns. In his first career start he helped lead the Browns to their first playoff win in 26 years against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his five years with the Browns, Michael spent time with five other franchises over his nine years. He finished his career playing in 55 total games with 10 starts. 

Michael currently resides in New Jersey with his wife, Marissa Dunn, and their two daughters, Madison and Maya. Michael and Marissa are proud Terps and look forward to taking their children back to campus for football and basketball games.

Julie Elion is one of the most respected sport psychologists in professional golf. Over a 25-year career, she has coached half of the top 10 all-time money earners on the PGA Tour — athletes accounting for more than $500 million in career earnings, 150 Tour wins, and 25 major championships, including Wyndham Clark’s 2026 U.S. Open victory.

The author of Mastering the Mental Game (2026), Julie is a frequent national golf commentary analyst. Beyond golf, Julie coaches business executives and professional and collegiate athletes across the NBA, NFL, MLB, WNBA, and LPGA, and has mentored the Howard University golf program for five years. She began working with Israeli golfer Laetitia Beck shortly after October 7, helping guide her rise from the Epson Tour to the LPGA.

Julie is the founder of the Center for Athletic Performance Enhancement (CAPE), a 16-person practice based in Jupiter, Florida, offering mental performance coaching alongside psychiatry, nutrition, and physical training. Her family — including her husband and two children — works alongside her at CAPE, guided by her credo: Dig Deep.

Steven Goff worked in The Washington Post sports department for 40 years before joining Yahoo Sports in October 2025.

Steve’s Post career began during his sophomore year at American University, riding the bus from Ward Circle to L Street to answer phones and assist editors during the day and help with high school football coverage on Friday nights.

College soccer and professional indoor lacrosse at the Capital Centre were Steve’s first beats. He went on to cover eight men’s World Cups, six women’s World Cups and report from about 30 countries, including Russia, Cuba and South Africa. This summer, Steve is covering his ninth men’s World Cup, for Yahoo.

From 1996 to 2025, Steve was The Post’s D.C. United beat reporter, which afforded him quality time with RFK Stadium’s raccoons and other wildlife. His Post tenure also included coverage of 25 MLS championships and NCAA basketball and lacrosse, as well as 12 years as a copy editor.

In 2013, Steve was elected to the Virginia-DC Soccer Hall of Fame; last spring, he was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

Steve and his wife Karen, a former journalist and current communications specialist for the Fairfax County government, are longtime residents of Reston, Virginia. Their son Ryan lives with his wife Annie in Brooklyn, New York.

Lou Kozloff was born in Nashville, TN and raised in Allentown, PA. He attended the University of Pennsylvania (undergrad 1965, med school 1969). Lou practiced vascular surgery in the DC area from 1979-2017.

Lou’s swimming achievements include:

• Penn varsity swimmer 1962-1965; captain 1965; named “most valuable swimmer” 1964 and 1965

• Set all Penn and pool records in the 50-, 100-, and 200-yard freestyle and

the 100-yard butterfly.

• Undefeated in all events in dual meets senior year

• Set pool records in the 50- and 100-freestyle at Penn, Lehigh, Lafayette,

Bucknell, and West Chester

• Set record for most points scored in a season; the record still stands

• First place in the Middle Atlantic AAU Championships 100-yard freestyle

• Ranked 3rd in the world in the 50-yard freestyle 1965

• Member of US Maccabean team 1965 – bronze medal in the 100-meter

freestyle

• First Penn swimmer to qualify for NCAA national championships

• Only Penn swimmer ever to qualify for four events in the national

championships

• Named the Penn swimming “GOAT” 1965-2024

• Elected to the Penn Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000

• Completed the Chesapeake Bay swim in 1989

Lou and his wife Rene Chalfin, who met at Penn, have two spectacular children, Laurie and Howard, two spectacular in-laws, and five all-star grandchildren. Now retired, he is pursuing hispassion for wildlife/nature photography and managing what his wife describes as “the world’s largest family practice.”

Michael Lichtenstein was a four-year starter on the Brandeis University soccer team that won the Division III National Championship in 1976, the year Michael was the team’s leading scorer.  He scored a hat trick in the NCAA regional finals, including the winning goal in overtime.  

Michael was a four-time Greater Boston League All Star, a two-time All New England selection, and a 2008 Inductee into the Brandeis Hall of Fame (33 goals and 20 assists).  He was also selected as a member of the Israeli national cricket team (toured England and Ireland) and as a member of the USA master’s triathlon team for the 17^th Internation Maccabiah Games in Israel.  

Prior to attending Brandeis University, Michael served for three years in the IDF, including as a tank officer.

Jake Rozhansky grew up in Takoma Park, Maryland, and went on to have a decorated soccer career at the youth, collegiate, and professional levels. He played for the Olney Rangers, one of the most successful youth soccer teams in Maryland history, before winning an NCAA national championship as a freshman at the University of Virginia and earning College Cup All-Tournament Team and ACC freshman best 11 honors. He later transferred to the University of Maryland, where he earned All-Big Ten First Team honors. In 2017, he represented Team USA at the Maccabiah Games, taking home a gold medal and the Golden Boot as the tournament’s top scorer.

Jake’s professional career spanned two countries over eight seasons. He played in Israel’s top two divisions, including stints with Maccabi Netanya and Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem, before returning to the United States where he captained New England Revolution II and finished his career with NYCFC II.

Since retiring from professional soccer, Jake has channeled the same discipline and team-first mentality into a career as a financial advisor at HUB Wealth Strategies, where he specializes in helping medical and dental professionals plan for their financial futures. He also coaches youth soccer and remains deeply connected to the game that shaped him. Today, Jake lives in Brooklyn with his wife Rayna and their dog Morty.
