Applications are Open for the Bender JCC Board of Directors and Board Committees

At the Bender JCC of Greater Washington, we value the importance of diverse voices and perspectives in our leadership—both on our Board of Directors and across our committee structure. We are currently seeking qualified and engaged individuals to fill a limited number of board seats, as well as to serve on committees that support our mission and work.

Board members will join a dynamic and forward-thinking group of leaders from a wide range of professional backgrounds who reflect the diversity of the community we serve. We are seeking candidates who are deeply committed to our mission, understand the broader needs of the community, are willing to contribute time, energy, and resources, and approach board service as a serious responsibility. Board members serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2026.

In addition to board service, the Bender JCC offers opportunities to serve on committees. Committee members do not need to be members of the Board of Directors; we welcome individuals who bring relevant expertise, experience, and interest in specific areas of our work. Committee service is an important way to contribute knowledge and insight while supporting the organization’s continued growth and impact.
