Theodore N. Lerner is the Managing Principal Owner of the Washington Nationals Baseball Club and Founder of Lerner Enterprises, the largest private real estate developer in the Washington, D.C. area. He attended Roosevelt High School in Washington D.C. where he was a sports reporter and a member of the tennis team. He continues to be an avid tennis, golf and fitness enthusiast. For the lifelong baseball fan who used to pay 25 cents to sit in the bleachers at Griffith Stadium and watch the Senators with his father and who later, as a teenager, worked as an usher at the stadium, owning the Washington Nationals is the realization of a lifetime dream. Lerner Enterprises is a partner in Chelsea Piers, a 30-acre sports and entertainment complex located on the Hudson River in New York City. The Annette M. and Theodore N. Lerner Family Foundation provides support to many local and international organizations. Ted and his wife Annette are founding members of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. and he is a former member of the Museum Board of Trustees.
