Book Talk: Autism with a Side of Sushi with Kuri Levine

Join us for a special event with author and JCC parent Kuri Levine as we explore her book, “Autism with a Side of Sushi.” Through personal stories, Kuri uses sushi as a powerful metaphor for her family’s journey with autism—drawing on her own experience coming to America and her son’s way of navigating the world to illustrate how understanding autism, like developing a taste for sushi, takes time, openness, and a willingness to embrace new perspectives. We’ll begin with a sushi lunch, followed by a meaningful and engaging conversation with Kuri about her book, parenting experiences, and lessons she’s learned.
