Bob Edenbaum was a leading basketball player for New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, NY, where he was selected to the 1st Team All-High and set the record as the 2nd highest leading scorer in New York. He was a standout player for the George Washington University Colonials, elected captain in his final season. Bob also excelled in handball, winning the Junior Single Wall Handball Championship in high school and, years later, won both the Singles and Doubles Four Wall Championship at the DC JCC. He has also won several local tennis championships. Rounding out his athletic career, Bob coached and instructed the Washington Hebrew Congregation Youth Basketball League for 7 years.
