Milton “Mickey” Mulitz
Mickey Mulitz is honored as one of the all-time lacrosse greats at the University of Maryland. Mickey’s sports achievements began at McKinley Tech High School when he was named to the All-High Basketball team. At Maryland, he discovered lacrosse and was named to the second-string All-American Lacrosse Team ( 1938) and the first-string All-American Lacrosse Team(1939-1940), meanwhile making the 1940 All-Southern Conference basketball team. After college, Mickey shared his athletic talents as a member of the Washington Lacrosse Club.
