Barry Kaplan

Barry is the current ombudsman for the Bender JCC, having served as Treasurer for two years and as a board member since 2019. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Barry has deep roots in the JCC community, having worked as a summer camp counselor and lifeguard at the Memphis JCC. Professionally, Barry is a Senior Investment Director at NRRIT, where he is responsible for international equity investments. In addition, he serves on the Board of Investment Trustees for Montgomery County. Barry resides in Gaithersburg, MD, with his two teenage children.
