The Department of Justice Office of Special Investigations

Tuesday, May 11 | 1:15 PM | On Zoom

Join the JCC Men’s Club for a talk by Robert Seasonwein. At the end of WW II, the U.S. and Russia secretly competed to recruit former Nazi rocket scientists and intelligence officials. A number of these individuals were permitted to immigrate to the U.S. But along with those selected, were many others who had committed atrocities during World War II. In 1979, the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) of the U.S. Justice Department was created to identify and expel those individuals who assisted Nazis in the persecution of “any person because of race, religion, national origin, or political opinion.”

Open to the community. On Zoom
