JTalks on Zoom: The Supreme Court Takes Center Stage Hosted by CoA* Adults Program Wednesday, February 16 I 5:00 PM I $10 The Supreme Court has long had a profound influence on American life, but this year may find the Court under a microscope. It will be deciding some high profile, volatile cases with the nine justices spending their first full term together and back in person and with the three newest appointees looking to find their footing, individually or collectively. We will explore these important themes. Guest speaker, Stephen Wermiel is a professor of practice at American University Washington College of Law where he has taught about the Constitution and the Supreme Court for 23 years. His decades of law teaching follow a career as the Wall Street Journal Supreme Court correspondent and as a Boston Globe Washington political reporter. You will receive the Zoom link the morning of the program. We look forward to your joining us! *What is CoA?
