Pizza in the where?! Pizza in the HUT!
Sukkah hut, that is!
Families will come together to celebrate Sukkot in the Sukkah village for a pizza dinner. Sukkot is the fall holiday that invites us to have our meals outdoors in a sukkah, the temporary hut that was built in the fields during the harvest season in Israel. It is also a reminder of the huts the Jews built after the exodus, as they traveled through the desert.
Our modern Bender JCC version adds pizza and fun for the whole family. Join us in our “sukkah village,” dine on pizza and treats, make sukkah decorations and hear a sukkot story.
