Celebrating the Catskills with Stephen Silverman, Author of The Catskills: Its History and How It Changed America
Wednesday, December 11 | 12:00 – 3:00 PM
A heart-warming, nostalgic-filled tribute to the enormously rich culture of a bygone era! Learn the secrets of the kibitzers and kingpins as Silverman entertains us with many charming and colorful stories. From the 1920-1970’s, children of immigrants enjoyed Borscht Belt humor, learning the latest dance steps or perfecting their tennis swing!
But first, join us for a delicious kosher New York-style deli lunch:
- Corned Beef, Pastrami & Turkey (Vegetarian options available)
- Knishes & Pickles & Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda
- Babka, Black & White Cookies & other goodies
Cost: $36 (RSVP by 11/25)
