Join author Christine Yu, author of Up to Speed: The Groundbreaking Science of Women Athletes, in conversation with Run Farther & Faster coaches, Lisa Levin and Julie Sapper, at the Bender JCC of Greater Washington to learn how the latest science can help girls and women achieve their athletic potential and avoid injury. In her new book, Up to Speed, Christine Yu disentangles myth and gender bias from real science, making the case for new approaches that can help women athletes excel at every stage of life, from adolescence to adulthood, through pregnancy, menopause, and beyond.
