Book Chat with John Vine “A Parkinson’s Primer”
April 23, 2017
1:00 - 2:30 PM
You’re invited to join us for a discussion and book signing with John Vine.
Vine details his new book, A Parkinson’s Primer; a book about diagnosis for new patients with low symptom presentation. Written from the patient’s perspective, this nontechnical guide is essential reading for all newly diagnosed patients and their loved ones.
- “John Vine says he wrote this book for people who have been newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Well, I was diagnosed 24 years ago, and I still learned something new on every page.” — Michael Kinsley, author of Old Age: A Beginner’s Guide
- “My husband has PD, and I devoured this book. It’s wise, wonderfully readable, and, above all, helpful.” — Lesley Stahl
This event takes place in the Goldman Art Gallery from 1:00 – 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 23. You will have an opportunity to purchase a copy of the book for $15. Please pay by check or with exact change to the author, directly.
This event is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP to ensure your seat.
