Parent and Community Education (P.A.C.E.)

Parent and Community Education (P.A.C.E) has been providing educational and emotional support to mothers of babies (2 weeks to 5 months old and under) since 1973. Designed to support first time moms, P.A.C.E. groups meet for two hours to discuss a variety of topics including eating, sleeping, crying, attachment, disposition and play. Time is also set aside so that members may share their experiences, questions and concerns. The combination of educational and emotional support works so well that most P.A.C.E groups continue to meet on their own after the eight sessions. Groups are led by professionals trained in the fields of infant and parent development, family relationships and group dynamics and who are also “seasoned moms”.
